Title:  Customer & Technical Manager

Job Summary

Manage the bakery business in the Industrial and Key Account Bakery customers. Will be responsible for the profitable growth in this area The individual will be responsible for managing the vision, strategy and implementation of a 3 year strategic plan in their territory. Have the ability to plan a line by line budget for each customer. A huge focus for this role will be to develop new customers and develop new SKU’s within the current customer base. Frequent interaction with internal and external customers is crucial to ensure that customer 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the current Ingredients Bakery Customer base
• Assist in Developing and communicate a 3 year Group Bakery Strategy
• Develop and implement a 1 year account management plan for each customer
• Achieve budget and growth targets
• Achieve monthly sales and profitability targets for the Bakery Ingredients
• Be the custodian of our marketing and brand strategy and convey the activities to all related parties. (sales, R&D, operations)
• Grow the current market share with regard to volumes and revenue (improve margins and gross profit) by interacting with Sales and key role players (Innovation, Operation and marketing)
• Explore sales opportunities within current customer base (Improve the scope and basket). Liaise with marketing, sales and R&D.
• Build relationships with key customers.
• Identify business opportunities. New & current.
• Identify innovative ideas to deliver solutions and services to key customers.
• Build a strong knowledge base of current solutions and products. Present the company offer and share/train the sales force use.
• Build, grow, manages and communicate knowledge base of current market conditions.
• Build, grow and communicate knowledge base of new markets and their potential.
• Build, grow and communicate the knowledge base of competitors (direct and indirect) to the business and its markets.
• Strategically plan how to approach and convince potential new customers to use our solutions. Develop proposals alongside sales and R&D.
• Manage and create marketing material for sales and ways of showcasing the solutions the business provide.
• Manage and create marketing material for key events and showcasing the solutions the business provide.
• Have a good understanding of costing and P&L working.
• Have a good understanding of cost in use from a customer perspective. Net effect on customer financial outcome.
• Good articulation of customer needs to sales and innovations
• Research global trends and activities within baking environment and Share the info.
• Grow markets in Kuwait & Qatar, develop strategy for these regions, own and implement.

Work experience requirement

Experience of B2B Technical solution selling for Bakery Ingredients.
6-8 Year of experience in the Food Ingredient Industry / Bakery Industry in assigned markets is desirable.

Qualification

Bachelor degree in business or management related field.
