Job Summary

Direct responsibility for BU Finance function. Business partnering with CEO in all operational and strategic decision making. Facilitate structured BU business reviews. Actively support BU Annual Business Planning exercise in accordance with Corporate guidelines. Continuously monitor key business performance metrics. Lead/support cross functional BU/Corporate initiatives. Ensure financial discipline. Strengthen internal controls. Build a high-performance Finance team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To develop Long Term and Short-Term Finance Strategies, Plan and Forecast in line with Group’s strategic business plans and the operating objectives.
• To develop and present detailed financial feasibility plan including capacity expansion projects, pricing strategy, cost structure and investment for various business scenarios.
• Monthly Review of Financial performance and ensure achievement of short-term and long-term operational and financial objectives in line with the company objectives.
• To ensure compliance with financial policies of the company and highlight areas of deviation and steps required to mitigate the risk.
• To implement a robust financial reporting system to monitor the performance, its flow of funds, adherence to the budget, expenditures, income, and other budgetary items.
• To develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit control, management, costing and accounting.
• To interact with cross functional teams and address their financial information requirement for better decision making and controlling in line with business objectives.
• To be accountable for development of employees reporting to him and next level.
• To be responsible for implementing vision and values of the group in his department.

Work Experience

• 15-20 years’ relevant experience of which at least 8 years as Head Finance of medium/large sized Agri commodity businesses (multi-product/multi-location).

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/ CIMA/ICWA or equivalent)
• MBA with specialization in Finance from a reputed Business School will be an added advantage.

Skills

• Domain expert knowledge and relevant experience of financial accounting, business analysis, business planning, forecasting, costing, treasury and taxation.
• Business focus; exposure to business partnering and strategic decision making.
• Ability to add value to cross functional BU endeavors.
• Hands-on exposure to Oracle, SAP or other major ERP.
• Highly analytical, commercially oriented with good grasp of numbers.
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to BU finance team.Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to interact with Board/Senior Management.
