Job Summary
The Technical Services Manager (Sweet Bakery) role is product focused and requires an intimate knowledge of bakery practices and procedures. The Technical Services Manager will be responsible for driving sales through technical expertise, team development and training, and leading best practice.
Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Sales
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of sweet bakery products, including ingredients, formulations, and production processes.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical solutions, and promote our bakery products.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and optimizing bakery processes.
- Be the lead PM for QSR in sweet bakery
Team Development & Training
- Training Programs: Design and conduct training programs for the sales team, R&D Team, and customers on bakery practices, product knowledge, and technical skills.
Research & Development
- Innovation: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new sweet bakery products and improve existing ones.
- Market Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from clients and the sales team to drive improved product offerings.
KPIs
- Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets for sweet bakery products.
- Client Satisfaction: Maintain through effective technical support and solutions.
- Product Development: Contribute to the successful development and launch of new sweet bakery products.
- Team Development: Raise the technical standards within the team for both internal and external facing personnel.
Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in food science, Bakery Technology, OR
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical sales within the bakery industry, with a focus on sweet bakery products.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of bakery practices, procedures, and product development.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales
