Job Summary

This position is responsible for Production planning along with coordination between Sales, Customer service & Production teams for efficient service delivery 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinating with Sales and production teams for daily production plan as per customer requirements, delivery schedules, priorities scheduling, etc., and ensuring optimized machinery utilization
• Managing all planning-related activities including Production planning and Material Requirement planning
• Complying with ERP system requirements
• Approving job order for Production, checking and correct material required for the job order
• Coordinating with Sales and Production teams for establishing priorities
• Performing varied production planning related activities including batch ticket ingredient modification, batch closing, formula preparation, recipe preparation, and specification modification
• Relieving the Production Manager on vacation by acting as a backup
• Assisting Sales department on technical requirements for development
• Preparing production reports on a periodic basis as per requirement
• Training and developing the team

KPIs

• Optimizing the production plan ensuring higher plant performance
• Achieving zero Material shortage index
• Make sure batches closed on time.

Work experience requirement

8-10 years of relevant experience in supply chain planing in the relevant manufactruing company.

Qualification

• Must have a bachelor degree in engineering/supply chain or any other relevant discipline.
• Master degree and/or SC related certification is desirable
