Job Summary

Manage CPO and CPKO supplies to factory, source new suppliers, maintain regular purchase and Barge management.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sourcing domestic Crude Palm Oil / CPKO within grades, time-spreads and prices.
  • Achieving assigned monthly target volume.
  • Develop & foster a good network & closed relationship with local suppliers
  • Ensure all aspects of physical and financial risk are covered in cargo transactions.
  • Consult and work closely with related department and superior to get update on refinery requirements and provide any optional supply in sourcing the raw material.
  • Handling barge management, freight negotiation and shipment supervising from loading to discharging ports for smooth movement of shipments and timely arrival.
  • Daily market report on pricing and market news.
  • Complying to Group Sustainability Policy with a strong focus on 100% compliance to NDPE & Traceability To Plantation ( TTP ) and increasing share of CSPO.

Work experience requirement

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Qualification

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree in related discipline.
  • Four of five years minimum of experience in crude palm oil trading industry is a MUST.
  • Proven track record in bulk oil trading and a wide network of relevant and deep relationships with external trading counterparties, refiners, and producers.
  • Has full knowledge and understanding of regulatory rules in both physical and financial crude palm oil markets and potential impacts if these rules change as well as experience in dealing with it.
  • Deep understanding of inter-regional crude oil flows, refinery operations and shipping markets.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Ms. Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bahasa and in English.
