Job Summary

Manage the assigned sales team, coverage area and products. Ensure that effective supervision and management of all aspects of sales channel stream and area.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience managing multiple product categories, such as Ice cream, Chocolates, Biscuits, Wafers & Confectionery, Edible Oils, Culinary and Frozen foods.
  • Experience managing business relationships with major retailers like Lulu and Nesto, at a high level at stores and in head offices (store GM’s, central buyers, senior buyers, commercial heads etc)
  • Scope of work is managing in-store fundamentals with excellence (distribution, shelving, pricing, activations etc)
  • Work includes negotiating and concluding BDA terms, promotion and flyer deals, display plans etc.
  • Highly organized and strategic in approach with proven success in dealing with top tier retailers at all levels.
  • Strong presentation and excel skills along with superior communication and analytical skills.
  • Handling the team of 3 (not 2) salesmen and 8 merchandisers
  • Closely involved in sales target planning for all categories.
  • Ensuring OSA
  • Focusing on growing and developing existing customer.
  • Market study and sales plan achievement
  • Responsible for the development and achievement of sales targets
  • Payment collection with proper follow-up finance & salesman

Work experience requirement

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar role in the assigned market with management of MT (KA) experience.
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in FMCG, preferably dealing with food products sales

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in business or management related field.
  • MBA degree in business or management related field.
