The Junior Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the commissary, ensuring all production is up to the mark, all standards on health and hygiene are maintained at all times and the production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely Production scheduling and execution on floor.
  • To manage team with effective communication & Co-ordination with respect to operational activities.
  • Proper utilization of Manpower & Machine while meeting the production targets along with the Food Safety Standards.
  • Machine efficiency and utilization along with an eye on waste control with respect to energy, resources, time and space.
  • To be accountable for all the finished products, packaging materials and minimize the losses.
  • Work actively with other departments like Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance.
  • Implementation of Food Safety, Personnel Hygiene, GHP and GMP with regards to Workmen.
  • Report all deviations/ nonconformities related with regard to Food safety management system to the department manager.
  • Monitoring the Critical Points & Critical Control Points in the HACCP plan.
  • Verification & Recording its documents.
