Job Summary
This position is responsible to lead Sales & Operations planning of the category with rolling projection on business performance. Ensuring alignment between Commercial and Manufacturing team through Demand and Supply review. Sustaining OTIF service level through optimized Production planning & scheduling and MRP without compromising on working capitals, DOIs and obsolescence.
Roles & Responsibilities
Facilitate alignment among stakeholders in S&OP phases. Ensure alignment of Sales and Operations with Quarterly goals. Identify and engage in resolving future business risks. Review progress of new product launches and strategic initiatives
Lead short & medium-term business planning. Drive rough-cut capacity planning and new product launch plans. Derive consensus demand based on inputs from Sales and Marketing. Review forecast accuracy and initiate action plans for improvement
Partner with Sales & Marketing for timely phase-in & phase-out. Track product life cycle for new SKUs. Organize SKU rationalization exercises. Minimize write-off risks
Review and improve inventory metrics. Predict stock shortages and implement replenishment plans. Maintain planning drivers and troubleshoot production issues. Simulate rough-cut capacity planning for decision-making
Preparation of different reports for monitoring RM, PM and FG stocks. Preparation of AOP plans from operational perspective.
Planing for procurement of raw & packaging materials. Maintain target RM/PM DOI. Share rolling forecasts with purchasing department. Generate MRP and review arrival schedule

- Stakeholder alignment in S&OP. Alignment with Quarterly goals. Timely resolution of business risks. Successful progress of new product launches and initiatives
- Successful business planning and capacity planning. Accurate consensus demand. Improvement in forecast accuracy. Adherence to target CVFOT, Delivery OTIF, DOI FG, Inward OTIF

- Using ERP tool and communication with other stake holders from operational team

Work experience requirement
- 3 – 5 years of experience in supply chain in reputed firms.
- Experience in FMCG companies will be preferred.
Qualification
- Business Graduate / Bachelor of Sciences or Engineering
- Preferably MBA in supply chain
