Job Summary

Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and operational support of aseptic processing and filling systems to ensure uninterrupted production, machine efficiency, and safe plant operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Planning and executing breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities for aseptic processing and filling equipment

• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automationrelated issues on Tetra Pak UHT plants, homogenizers, TBA/8 fillers, and aseptic Bag-in-Box filling lines

• Managing critical spare parts inventory and coordinating with vendors/OEMs for maintenance support, calibration, and specialized services

• Maintaining maintenance records, machine history, ERP updates, and technical reports as per organizational requirements

• Participating in root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and improve OEE

• Planning and executing commissioning, machine overhauls, upgrades, and facility enhancement projects related to aseptic processing and filling operations

• Ensuring compliance with QHSE, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards during all maintenance activities

• Coordinating with production and quality teams during startups, product changeovers, SIP/CIP cycles, and aseptic sterilization processes

• Training and developing maintenance technicians and operators on machine operation, troubleshooting, and best maintenance practices

• Reduction in machine breakdowns and downtime

• Improvement in OEE and maintenance efficiency

• Compliance with QHSE, GMP, and food safety standards

• Efficient utilization of maintenance resources and cost optimization

• Successful execution of projects and facility enhancement activities 

Work experience requirement

• Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical) with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Tetra Pak aseptic processing and filling lines, or Engineer with 3–5 years of relevant experience

• Strong expertise in UHT systems, high-pressure homogenizers, TBA/8 filling machines, aseptic Bagin-Box filling systems, CIP/SIP systems, and aseptic processing equipment

• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance within dairy, beverage, juice, or liquid food manufacturing industries preferred 

Qualification

Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
