Job Summary

Plan and coordinate short-, medium-, and long-term shipment and logistics activities to meet customer and market requirements. Ensure timely order processing, dispatch, and delivery while maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, warehouse, and transport partners to optimize resource utilization and resolve operational challenges. Monitor shipment status, track key performance metrics, and proactively address delays or issues. Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular updates to customers regarding order status and delivery timelines

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handling documentation pertaining to export shipping, based on L/C and/or other credit terms
  • Compliance Checks of documents (LC & Shipping)
  • Getting all required documents attested from the relevant authorities/ministries/chamber of Commerce
  • Maintaining a direct relationship with the Bank pertaining to all export procedures and documentation
  • Completing paperwork for acquiring certifications/lab test reports for required items
  • Preparing issue Certificate of Origin, Customs/ Insurance declaration
  • Close coordination with the logistics or shipping company or agents for scheduling
  • Ensuring timely export documents delivery
  • Preparing and filing all documentation and relevant email correspondences in line
  • Coordinating with buyers for documents operations
  • Dispatching shipping documents to all relevant parties through mail
  • Preparing LC draft ,freight draft, Insurance Draft
  • Tracking the status of the entire shipments document and preparing a report of the same
  • Participating in Annual Budget preparations

KPIs

  • Minimizing discrepant documents and discrepancy charges (payment realization)
  • Ensuring low demurrage and detention costs
  • Timely preparation of weekly documents negotiation report
  • Effective utilization of ERP system

Work experience requirement

3-5 years of Customer Service experinece in Supply Chain function from FMCG manufacturing companies.

Qualification

Post Graduation in Commerce or Business Administration.
