Job Summary

Incumbent will manage the manufacturing operations of the plants including Refinery (Palm & Lauric), Packaging (Olein, Fats, Speciality Fats) and related Supply Chain. Incumbent will also be a part of the team, that evaluates strategic projects, budgets, and executes them.

Job Description

  • Benchmarking best practices from across industries globally and implementing the same
  • Evolve and help drive strategies for the company in terms of lean manufacturing and delivery
  • Accountable for the strategy execution and translating them into actions and deliverables
  • Budgeting & Strategic Planning and Project management
  • Engineering function management and Operation management of multiple factories.
  • Process improvement, Institutionalizing SOP, creating manuals etc.
  • Cost efficiency initiatives - identification and implementation.
  • Maintain robust health of all assets with timely maintenance practices.
  • Reviewing production costs, variances & wastage.
  • Seamless interactions and navigation across Corporate Functions (Corp R&D, Corp Technical Services, Corp Sustainability, etc)

Work experience requirement

Manufacturing preferably in Edible Oils &Fats and ability to lead and manage large & complex operations.

15-20 years’ experience in Manufacturing (Oils & Fats) sector

Qualification

  • Must have a bachelor degree in Commensurate Technical qualification in Engineering (Oil Technology, Chemical) from a Reputed Institute. 
  • Master degree and other manufacturing related certification is desirable.
