Job Summary

To assist the Electrical Supervisor in supervising electrical maintenance activities to ensure that all production equipment and other electrically powered machinery within the plant are always ready for safe and efficient operation.

 

Job & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Electrical Supervisor in supervising electrical maintenance activities.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolving issues in production machines or other equipment caused by electrical failures.
  • Coordinate with all related departments regarding electrical issues.
  • Perform electrical maintenance activities (service, repair, and modification) to ensure equipment and machinery return to normal operation.
  • Monitor and control all electrical maintenance tools and equipment to ensure effective utilization.
  • Assist the Electrical Supervisor in problem-solving and completing Work Orders received from other sections.
  • Coordinate with operators and other departments to maintain effective collaboration in supporting a safe and efficient electrical system.

 

Authority

  • Assist in setting priorities for incoming Work Requests (WR) without negatively impacting other departments.
  • Monitor and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved Work Requests.

 

Competencies

  • Leadership: Ability to supervise Electrical Operators and Ability to allocate and distribute tasks to the electrical/instrument team in the field.
  • Technical: Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, with proficiency in performing maintenance and repairs in these areas. Ability to read and accurately interpret electrical wiring diagrams, along with a solid understanding of motor control systems. Capable of carrying out instrument setup and calibration effectively.
  • Language: Basic (passive) proficiency in English

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Vocational High School (Technical) education with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical maintenance.
  • Good supervisory skills, mature, and authoritative.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and anticipatory skills.
  • Detail-oriented, confident, and disciplined.
  • Hardworking and highly committed to the company.
