Title:  Blender Operator

Job Purpose

To carry out the blending process of oils—including cooking oil, shortening, specialty fats, and margarine—throughout production until the product is ready for filling or transfer to the packaging plant/shortening plant, in accordance with established methods.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure and perform oil blending according to laboratory ratios.
• Record and report all blending activities both directly and in activity reports.
• Document and input all incoming and outgoing material ingredients in the warehouse system, while monitoring stock levels.
• Conduct daily checks and record CCPs in the blending area (pressure gauge on strainer in & out lines).
• Verify transfer requests of oil from tank farm/production to blending tanks.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and blending area.
• Collect and deliver oil samples before and after blending to the laboratory.
• Monitor the condition of flowmeters/counters in the blending system.
• Ensure blending tanks and ingredient tanks are clean before use.
• Handle unloading of raw material oil from flexi bags, ISO tanks, or tanker trucks.
• Perform heating and unloading of rejected oil from customer complaints.
• Carry out loading of flexi oil in the blending area (palmitic and lauric products).
• Comply with all company rules and policies.

Authority

Report any issues related to blending activities, equipment, or cleanliness of the blending area and tanks to the supervisor (Quality Supervisor / QA Assistant Manager / QA Manager).

Qualifications

• Male, minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s degree (Chemistry background), with at least 1 year of relevant experience; OR
• High school education with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Detail-oriented and honest in reporting
• Basic proficiency in English (at least passive)
