Job Summary

The Associate Technician is responsible for supporting the execution of Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance activities while ensuring adherence to all safety, hygiene and quality standards applicable in the food industry environment.

The role includes assisting in maintaining equipment reliability and plant operations with efficiency and care.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and execution of Preventive Maintenance activities.
  • Support the execution of breakdown maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Participate in condition monitoring maintenance to detect and resolve issues proactively.
  • Monitor spare parts availability and timely communicate stock requirements or shortages.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment and operating systems, addressing anomalies where necessary.
  • Ensure electrical systems are maintained in line with operational standards and quality requirements.
  • Assist in substation maintenance of the plant as per safety and operational guidelines.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment appropriately and safely.

Work experience requirement

Minimum 2 years’ experience in all kind of PLCs and other machines in a Manufacturing / FMCG business.

Qualification

ITI/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics
