Job Summary

Associate Operate Tank Farm, ensuring clean, manages the safe and efficient storage, transfer, and inventory of bulk liquid or Oil within a tank farm, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining equipment. Support safety practices, report hazards, and uphold GMP, hygiene, and company standards. Perform additional tasks as required.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Monitor and control tank farm operations: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of oil products, ensuring safe and efficient operation of vessel offlaoding, Tanker, Container loading & Offloading.Maintain Cleaning the Tank farm.
2. Conduct routine inspections: Regularly inspect tanks, pipelines, valves, and other equipment to detect any signs of leaks, damage, or malfunction.
3. Perform tank gauging and sampling: Measure tank levels and collect samples to ensure product quality and quantity.
4. Operate valves and pumps: Control the flow of oil products into and out of tanks, and operate pumps to maintain desired flow rates.
5. Respond to emergencies: Take prompt action in case of emergencies, such as leaks or spills, and follow established procedures to minimize risks.
6. Related custom clearance: all material Entry, Exit and online gate pass documentaton

• • To assist their Supervisors and Managers in identifying hazards at the workplace.
  • To participate in the assessment of the risks associated with the identified hazards.
  • At the workplace not to, by way of omission or negligence, place themselves or others at the risk of harm or ill-health.
  • Be aware of and follow the ERCO adopted risk management procedures when undertaking tasks and projects.
  • Follow the reasonable directions of Supervisors and Managers with regard to safety.
  • Report as soon as practical and without undue delay to supervisors any incidents or near misses which relate to occupational health and safety at the workplace.
  • Do not interfere or misuse any device or equipment which has been provided as a part of a risk control measure.
  • Maintaining the quality & safety standards without deviation.
  • Maintaining GMP & Hygiene at Work Area
  • Any other work responsibility assigned by Line Manager as and when required upon business requirement

Work experience requirement

2-4 years of relevant work experience in Tank Farm operations for FMCG industry
