Job Summary

The HSE Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, systems, and practices. The role includes overseeing safety procedures, implementing preventive measures, managing compliance with local and international safety regulations, promoting a safety-conscious environment and coordination with regulatory authorities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the organization maintains high standards of HSE performance, minimizing risks to employees, the environment, and the business. 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and internal policies. 

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on all HSE matters, including policies, training records, and inspection reports. 

  • Organize safety drills, trainings, and workshops for employees on workplace safety and environmental awareness. 

  • Assist in conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. 

  • Monitor the implementation of safety protocols, reporting any violations or risks to the HSE Manager. 

  • Manage incident reports, near-miss records, and track safety performance indicators. 

KPIs

  1. Safety Incident Rate: 

  • Reduction in Lost Time Injuries (LTIs) and near-miss reports. 

  1. Compliance Rate: 

  • Percentage of compliance with UAE safety laws and internal audits. 

  1. Training Completion: 

  • Percentage of staff trained and certified on HSE policies annually. 

Work experience requirement

  • 2-4 years of experience in an HSE role within manufacturing or similar industries. 

  • Proven experience in managing and implementing safety procedures and regulations.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science (BS) or Engineering (BE) 

  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
